  • Increased Conversions: Conversions increased by 52%, from 25 in September to 38 in October, demonstrating a more effective targeting strategy.
  • Cost per Conversion: The cost per conversion dropped substantially from $40.55 in September to $17.60 in October, a reduction of 57%.
  • Increased Engagement: Phone calls saw a slight improvement from 22 in September to 25 in October, indicating enhanced engagement and interest in the service.

The October optimizations yielded impressive results, achieving both a reduced cost per conversion and an increased number of conversions within a lower budget. Challenge

In September, the campaign faced challenges with limited conversions and relatively high costs per conversion. Despite spending $689, the campaign delivered only 17 conversions at a cost per conversion of $36.39. Additionally, phone calls, a key engagement metric, were at 23 for the month. The goal for October was to improve efficiency, increase conversions, and boost overall engagement within a slightly increased budget.

Solution

To address these challenges, the following strategies were implemented:

  1. Enhanced Targeting: Audience segmentation was refined, focusing on high-intent and geographically relevant users.
  2. Keyword Expansion & Optimization: High-performing keywords were expanded, while non-performing keywords were paused to maximize return on ad spend.
  3. Ad Copy Revamp: New ad creatives with stronger calls to action and value propositions were tested to improve click-through and conversion rates.
  4. Strategic Bid Adjustments: Manual bid adjustments and automated bidding strategies were combined to optimize spend for conversions.
  5. Phone Call Focus: Ads with a “click-to-call” feature were prioritized to increase direct engagement through phone calls.

Result

The October campaign delivered remarkable improvements across key metrics:

  • Cost Efficiency: While the spend increased marginally from $689 to $712, the cost per conversion dropped by 5%, from $36.39 in September to $19.83 in October.
  • Conversions Growth: Conversions more than doubled, increasing from 17 in September to 40 in October, representing a 135% increase.
  • Phone Call Surge: Phone calls, a critical indicator of engagement, jumped from 23 in September to 46 in October, a 100% improvement.

Summary

The October optimizations significantly enhanced campaign performance, achieving a higher number of conversions and calls at a much lower cost per conversion.
